1)i think that it is important to have a schedule when working on a production because it helps you know what days you are free and it helps you space out your tasks rather than doing it all in one day . it keeps you organised .

2)0ne activity that i may find hard is editing my photos on photoshop. another activity i may find hard is actually creating the final product.

3) in order to achieve these difficult activities i will revise on how to edit on photoshop by watching videos on youtube and or asking peers and teachers .

CASTING

WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2019

CASTING

In this task i am going to identify the actors/models i am going to use in my media product.

actor/model 1

myself : Olivia Ross
what makes this person suitable :i have experience in baking and know what to do . also it will be easier to do it myself than invite someone else round my house . also it will only be their hands that will be featured therefore id doesn't matter what the model looks like.

LOCATION INFORMATION

WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY 2019

LOCATION INFORMATION

In this task i am going to be assessing an identifying the locations i am going to be using for my photos that are going to be in my magazine .

1st location

the first location will be my house
the thing that makes this location suitable is that i have all of the resources to take pictures , make the food and i have all of the equipment. one thing about this location that could make my task difficult is that i have to take the pictures in and transfer them to my computer at school.this could be difficult as the  images could get lost .

what i have learnt during this task is the places I'm going to be taking my images but also the risks of using this location could be and how to prevent them .

My Audience

Wednesday 27th March 2019

Task 2
Answer the following questions about audience profiling:

  • Name 5 ways in which audiences can be categorised.
  • Why do you think it's important for media producers to categorise audiences?
  • What is the target audience as described in your chosen brief?
  • Give a short explanation as to your understanding of the target audience given in your chosen brief.

1) ways in which and audience can be categorised include niche audiences ,mass audiences , gender, social class, age ,sexuality, religion, race, nationality

2)i think it is important for media producers to categorise audiences because it helps the media producers understand what types of media products to produce and who to produce it for.also ,it helps the media producers understand their audience and how many viewers from these categories are watching their products and then they can produce these products for these categories and get the most amount viewers watching their products .

3)the target audience as described in my brief is for children ages 10-13 .

4)in the brief i have chosen, the target audience for my brief is children ages 10-13. this includes any person from the ages of 10,11,12,13. i can also understand that my audience will be in years 7,8,9. these are of similar age to me therefore i can connect and understand what products they would like to see .

Task 3 - Go to www.surveymonkey.com, create a FREE account and create a 10-question questionnaire asking people what they like and dislike about media products of your chosen brief.

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FWMZSBM
Task 4 - Invite peers to answer the questionnaire... you can do this via sending them a link via email. You can also copy and paste this link onto this post.

You must wait for the students to answer your questionnaire.

Task 5 - Review your results and copy and paste any graphs or charts given by surveymonkey.  Then you need to write up your findings in paragraph form including how you intend to use the information collated in your questionnaire.
You can use the questions below to help you write your analysis:

  • What did you find useful about the information collated?
  • How are you going to use the information collated to establish/define a target audience for your product?
  • What does your audience expect to see in the product you're going to create?
  • How are you going to use the information collated to come up with designs and house-styles for your product?

Task 6 - DEFINE YOUR AUDIENCE
The last piece of writing you need to do should be an explanation of who your target audience actually is now... Please define your audience by gender, age, socio-economic class, likes and dislikes.

from my survey i found that my audience age from 12-13.  They are mostly of girls and their favourite topic is baking. i found that they disliked the topic fashion.
