statement of intent
My magazine will be for females aged 12-13 who are interested in baking. It will include one recipe for brownies and tips for baking . The magazine is for people who love baking and who are interested in learning about how to bake effectively.The main image on the front cover will be the final product of the brownies . I will also be including large colourful fonts to catch the eye of my audience .My double page spread will also consist of 3 or more original images to guide the audience on how each process should look. It will also include one recipe of how to bake brownies to share with the family but to teach a fun way to spend your free time . Finally i will also be adding a list of tips and tricks about baking to inform and educate my audience on how to bake effectively.my magazine will cost £1. I feel this is an appropriate price as most baking magazines £5 so mine will be the cheaper option. also, it would be possible for my audience to buy the magazine as they could use pocket money etc. I have picked this topic as i feel it is an easy start if you want to get into baking but also it is a very fun skill to have. i will be using pastel colours to attract people to the magazine but also to provide a feeling of happiness and calmness for my readers. this is because pastel colours give off the connotation of happy,calm,relieved. sweet magazine has inspired my ideas for this magazine as their magazine is very calming and sweet, however their target audience and topics are different from mine.my audience will be a niche audience as it is generally targeted at girls from ages 10-13 who have an interest in baking or food. my magazine will appeal to group E because my audience will be unemployed students.

1)i think that it is important to have a schedule when working on a production because it helps you know what days you are free and it helps you space out your tasks rather than doing it all in one day . it keeps you organised .
2)0ne activity that i may find hard is editing my photos on photoshop. another activity i may find hard is actually creating the final product.
3) in order to achieve these difficult activities i will revise on how to edit on photoshop by watching videos on youtube and or asking peers and teachers .

what makes this person suitable :i have experience in baking and know what to do . also it will be easier to do it myself than invite someone else round my house . also it will only be their hands that will be featured therefore id doesn't matter what the model looks like.

In this task i am going to be assessing an identifying the locations i am going to be using for my photos that are going to be in my magazine .
1st location
the first location will be my house
the thing that makes this location suitable is that i have all of the resources to take pictures , make the food and i have all of the equipment. one thing about this location that could make my task difficult is that i have to take the pictures in and transfer them to my computer at school.this could be difficult as the images could get lost .
what i have learnt during this task is the places I'm going to be taking my images but also the risks of using this location could be and how to prevent them .
